Room Rules & Studio Agreement

01Booking & Overtime

• —Rental Period: The rental starts at the scheduled time and ends at the scheduled time. This includes setup and teardown.
• —Overtime Fees: If the Renter stays past the scheduled end time, overtime will be billed at 1.5x the hourly rate, billed in 30-minute increments.

02Equipment & Damages

• —Major Damage: For damages exceeding $500, or if the incidental fee was declined, the Renter is responsible for the full replacement cost or repair value of the damaged item(s).

03Clean-up & "Leave No Trace" Policy

The Studio must be returned to the condition in which it was found.

• —Waste: All trash must be placed in designated bins.
• —Cleaning Fee: If the Studio is left in a state that requires professional cleaning or significant reorganization (e.g., excessive glitter, fake blood, liquid spills, or unreturned gear), a Cleaning Fee of $150 will be automatically charged to the card on file.

04Liability & Negligence

• —Assumption of Risk: The Renter assumes all rigors and risks associated with their activities in the studio.
• —Limitation of Liability: The Studio shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or harm caused by the negligence, misconduct, or improper use of equipment by the Renter, their crew, or their talent.
• —Personal Property: The Studio is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought into the space by the Renter.

05Studio Rules (The "Don'ts")

• —No Smoking/Vaping: Strictly prohibited inside the building.
• —Capacity: Total headcount must not exceed the number agreed upon during booking.
• —Illegal Acts: No illegal substances or activities are permitted on the premises.

06Cancellation & Rescheduling

• —48-Hour Notice: Bookings cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
• —Short Notice: Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the start time will forfeit 50% of the booking fee. Due to the time and cost to prepare the studio for you, cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

07Media & Social Media

• —Behind-the-Scenes: The Studio reserves the right to take photos/videos of the production for promotional use on social media, unless the Renter explicitly requests a closed set in writing prior to the start of the booking.
• —Credit: We kindly ask that you tag @number7.studios in content published from the session.

08Force Majeure

• —The Studio is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond the Studio’s reasonable control, including mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation.

09Indemnification

• —The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Number 7 Studios, its owners, and employees from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or connected with the Renter’s use of the Studio.
